Ok,so,this is how it works..On posts with timestretched files there will always be the original file first.The acapella will have been scanned by "Mixed In Key" and then timed to a click track if I think the result is wrong.Mixed In Key is a great tool but it is not always spot on,which is a pity.

Next up there will be (usually) a 128 bpm stretch.Take note of the labelling of the file..At the start of it is the tempo of the new file and a "ts" before the artist name.That signifies that the file has been timestretched.Where there is a number & a letter,that signifies the overall "key" of the song.This data is from the "Mixed In Key" program I use.Here "3A" means the overall key of the song is in the scale of B Flat Minor.

At the end of every file is the original tempo used to perform the timestretch.If there is a "drm" tag that means I`ve used a click track to get the tempo.Otherwise I use "Mixed In Key" data.Point being,If you have the information that I used to perform the stretch you can correct it if I got it wrong in the first place!I am only human.At least when it`s wrong,its definatively wrong!

Finally,all timestretched files will be uploaded to Rapidshare in .WAV format,because I dont see much point in lowering the quality once again,since the file has been processed already,losing more quality to make an mp3!Pointless.So,the files will be big,but they will also be at the best possible quality.
